Drs. Todd Golde and Steven DeKosky present: “Alzheimer’s: Help for today and hope for tomorrow.”
Wed, Sept. 23 at 12:00 p.m. EST
Alzheimer’s disease is a devastating disorder affecting some 5.7 million Americans — a number that could triple by 2050. Healthy lifestyle choices reduce the risk and certain medications help to slow progression, but currently no drugs can stop or cure the disease. At the University of Florida, multidisciplinary research teams collaborate to discover better diagnostics and treatments to combat and prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
