CAM labs are hiring postdocs interested in aging research

The Woods Neuromodulation Lab in the Center for Cognitive Aging and Memory (CAM) at the University of Florida, Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, is searching for highly qualified post-doctoral associates to join our research team. These positions focus on discovering and implementing novel interventions aimed at remediating cognitive aging and slowing the onset of dementia in older adults; with a special interest in understanding the neural mechanisms of intervention effects. Common methods used in the lab include multimodal neuroimaging, multiple forms of non-invasive brain stimulation/transcranial electrical stimulation, and a clinical translational research model (bench to bedside). Dr. Ruogu Fang is seeking a highly self-motivated and qualified machine learning and medical image analysis researcher to join the Smart Medical Informatics Learning and Evaluation (SMILE) Lab as a postdoctoral associate. Our group focuses on artificial intelligence (AI)-empowered brain health and neuroscience-inspired AI by developing innovative and precision diagnosis and intervention tools using advanced machine learning techniques. The position requires a Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, neuroscience, or related field. Experience with medical image is a plus.
