Gator NeuroScholars: An Enhanced Postdoc Fellowship at the University of Florida

Enhanced Postdoctoral Opportunities at UF in Cognitive Aging and Memory

Applications are open for a new program offered by the UF McKnight Brain Institute: Gator NeuroScholars. Four postdoctoral associates will be awarded a highly competitive stipend ($60,000-65,000) for up to 3 years, with additional funds for travel and computing needs. In Year 2, Gator NeuroScholars will be allocated $25,000 in research support to collect preliminary data for a career development application (e.g., K99/R00). Candidates choose mentors from among ~200 MBI members; CAM Center members of potential interest to the cognitive aging community include:

  • Sara N. Burke, Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Associate Director of CAM Center
  • Adam J. Woods, Associate Professor of Clinical and Health Psychology and Associate Director of CAM Center
  • Yenisel Cruz-Almeida, Associate Professor of Dentistry and Associate Director of PRICE Center
  • Natalie Ebner, Professor in the Department of Psychology
  • Ruogu Fang, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering
  • Aprinda Indahlastari, Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology
  • Damon G. Lamb, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry
  • Andrew P. Mauer, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience
  • Eric S. Porges, Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology
  • Barry Setlow, Professor in the Department of Psychiatry
