Melissa Armstrong, M.D., M.Sc., director of the Mangurian Clinical-Research Center for Lewy Body and Parkinson’s Disease Dementia at the Fixel Center, and collaborators partnered with the Lewy Body Dementia Association to survey family members about their loved one’s end-of-life experiences with dementia with Lewy bodies, or DLB.
The study’s results, which demonstrate the need for better counseling and education for patients with DLB and their families, were recently published in the Journal of the American Geriatric Society.
